Crystal Cove Riverfront Resort & Suites Palatka

The location is ideal, the concierge in the morning was not very polite, an employee came into my room while I was in my room without knocking, the bathroom was grimly and rusted, the walls are dirty in the room and the connection for cable on the television was very poor, and the pillows on the beds are low quality, and lastly breakfast was not very palatable. The housekeeper Tony was polite and the nightshift concierge was endearing, I loved the location, being by the water is refreshing and the space was free of litter, it wasnt noisy at night, this motel has potential but for the price thats paid I firmly believe renovations need to be done and some employees need better training.

The property is run down. Everywhere we looked it needed paint, new fixtures, new furniture or some type of upkeep. The lobby area needed ceiling tiles and artwork on the bare nails. I felt sorry for the koi fish in the exposed black plastic lined “pond”. The photos show how shabbily the place is kept. The breakfast is a couple of bagels, bread for toast, and “Great-Value” brand instant oatmeal. (We were told waffles by the front desk staff upon check-in.) ||That being said, the room was clean, bed comfortable, and air conditioner worked well. The landscaping/view toward the river was nice. Hotel was quiet & too crowded. Service was good helpful. My room had yellow stains on the bed & smelled like paint ,but I was moved to a better room at no charge. The new room was in side the main building & was much better. Free wifi & computer access at hand. Pool table & plenty of lounge space. Ac was ok ,but should be colder. The bathroom was a bit small & the toilet had no lid cover ,so had to be careful not to drop anything into the toilet. Breakfast was ok. I wouldn't mind staying again

First class all the way best customer service I've seen in over 10 years these people cater to me like I was family. Definitely recommend it. Will definitely be back! The entire staff especially Michelle and the owner Mr Patel were so welcoming. It's rare to find a place today that appreciate your business and they really do! Greg Lord
