Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah by IHG

Just checked out of the Crowne Plaza Suffern. The room was very clean and the beds very very comfortable. We ate at Flagstones Restaurant located within the hotel and the food was excellent as well as the service. The next morning we had the breakfast Buffett including an omelette station and many other options such as pancakes, oatmeal, fresh fruit, coffee, juices, etc etc. quite impressive. The service again, excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

We often come down to rockland but this was our first time staying at the Crowne Plaza. Gorgeous hotel, lobby, sitting areas with pond and waterfall makes you feel like you are on a tropical vacation. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the staff were so very nice!! Special thanks to Victor at the bar and Renee at breakfast.|Both went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Positive: The best part of our visit was the hotel staff -- every one we dealt with was patient and very eager to please. Huge lounge on the first floor with a koi pond and large nooks for groups. We had six guests, and we were able to sit and talk comfortably. Negative: The HVAC in our room was noisy on High, and Low didnt work. The staff took care of several minor repair items immediately. People were smoking below our window; recommend a third floor room away from the side entrance doors.

Gorgeous, the lobby and room was clean and I absolutely loved that! Immediately settled right in. It would be 5 stars but: we had the option to be placed on the first floor and I didn't think anything of it until halfway through the night and early in the morning when we could hear literally everything. I suppose it's partially my fault for choosing a first level room, but I was not expecting our windows to be pointed towards the lobby with only a tint and curtain separating us. And I had no idea we would be hearing carts, suitecases, conversation, and banging and thuds constantly. Our room also was wafted by the smell of BO around 8 which I assume was from the food in the breakfast area... Hoping we don't leave smelling like it... I woke up multiple times in the middle of the night to ban

We booked our wedding block here and hosted a Welcome Party for our guests. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning waterfall in the middle of the lobby, and provided space for our party, as well as comfort and delicious food. The location was also so nice and full of nature. Thank you to Alexa, Heather, and Kaitlin, for making our stay so wonderful and special. Our guests loved it!
