This hotel was an absolute nightmare and one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. Nothing about this hotel is acceptable. It is dirty, smells bad, and feels extremely old and neglected. The rooms are very small, outdated, and uncomfortable. The bathroom was not clean at all and poorly maintained. The staff are not friendly, not welcoming, and not helpful in any way. Breakfast was unbelievably bad, honestly one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had in my life. The room keys were a complete disaster. I was staying with a large group of friends, and the keys did not work in my room or in my friends’ rooms. Every single time we left our rooms, we had to stand outside the door for at least 10 minutes trying to open it. In most cases, the key would not work at all, and we were forced t
The hotel is quite depressing overall, dated and well worn. Room was clean and perfectly fine, comfy beds and slept well. Air con unit was quite loud but heated the room fine. Windows were quite thin and weren’t the best at keeping the cold out.|The hotel does need a major update, as it’s very dated and old. Breakfast was ok but not much choice. Staff attentive and friendly though, reception team were nice too. |Pool wasn’t open.|Booked mostly for location so wasn’t too bothered.
The service was great. Check in and check out was smooth. The bathroom for me contributes to the overall room experience and I would say the tub/shower area fell short. It wasn’t up to date at all and the “repair” was evident and sloppy. The pool was da touch dirty. There was hair and dirt in it. Otherwise it was great. The room was super spacious and clean. There was no weird smell that some hotels tend to have. The beds were super comfy and so were the bed. I like that the NJ transit was within walking distance and it was a straight bus into the city (NYC). There is a la carte style restaurant. It seemed closed for dinner but I saw it open for breakfast. There’s a “downtown” area minutes away from the hotel if you have a car. It was in a convenient location. Overall was impressed.
Get people who understand what they are talking about for guest services. i asked a simple question “do you guys carry smart TVs in your rooms” & she literally had no idea what to respond. your staff should be trained. p
TLDR: Unclean room with sex toy left behind and marks on the carpet + phone with no dial tone + unfriendly service + no follow up after 4 business days 1. Dirty Room a) Minutes upon checking in, we noticed marks on the carpet that resembled either burn marks or some sort of serious dirt. b) I found a sex toy shaped like a man's reproductive organ (some call this a DILDO) on top of the microwave. 2) Phone Doesn't Work Immediately after the events above happened, I went to call the front desk. The phone doesn't work. No dial tone. I pressed 0, still nothing. Pressed the button for the Front Desk. Put down the phone. Asked my husband to try. Still nothing. In IHG alone, I've stayed at ~12 hotels in the last 2 years. Probably stayed in >80 DIFFERENT hotels in the last 10 years. The front des
