Cross Winds Family Campground

I stopped through for a night to visit relatives in the Lexington NC area. Great campground with good room to maneuver. I drive a 41ft class A and was pulling a 20ft trailer. They had a spot for me where I could stay connected to my trailer. I would recommend this place and plan on returning.

Always go here. Staff is very nice and the owners are great! Pool is nice but getting small for the amount of campers now. Great place to go or just to get away for a weekend. Good sites. The golf cart use needs to slow down and drivers needd to slow down and drivers need to be of age. Not sure if this is really being checked into.

Lovely little spot in the woods outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. The ladies that run the office are so kind, (not so much for the grumpy man that makes the occasional appearance). Full hookups so you're not roughing it here, they also have a swimming pool for the warmer months. Pros: roomy spots, so you're not right next to strangers. They definitely keep the area clean, everyone has their own rubbish receptacle, very quiet, well designed, beautiful scenery in the woods and the layout is country cute! Cons: water pressure is a little low, and the laundrette is a little rough, the machines are dirty and overpriced ($1.75 for wash, but $3.50 to dry) with 2 out of order. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Convenient, peaceful location. Utilities work well, including WiFi. I definitely enjoyed my stay here. Really I liked everything about it, except the price. That's because I came from a KOA in Asheville (a more touristy location) that had the same amenities (they had a river access instead of mature trees, but otherwise all of the same amenities) at $20 less per night.

This place was great. Great find for 3 nights. Enjoyed the trash can at each site. I was in town for a wedding, I loved having the nice clean spacious bath house to get ready in. Nice tall trees, our pull thru site was nice and shaded. Thanks for a great stay!
