We stayed at Cross Creek for three months during the summer of 2022 in a 40' motorhome. Our site backed up to the Stekoa Creek. We enjoyed our stay there. The owners Rick & Linda were pleasant and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were clean and heated. We occasionally hiked the Black Rock Mountain State park trails, and enjoyed our near, daily walks up the steep and challenging paved/ rock road that starts at the base of Black Rock Mountain, that begins across US 441 from the campground. There are a few other enjoyable and less steep walks starting at the campground on Playhouse Street. We're glad we found this campground and were able to stay for an extended period during the summer.

We had the best 1 week stay . The owner Rick was so kind. He stopped by everyday to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. Never met an owner of a campground that was so eager to please their guests. The sights were tight but surprisingly very quiet . We will definitely be back our next trip to Georgia .

Small well kept campground. We stayed 5 nights and made Crosscreek the base for our travels about the area. Staff is very nice and helpful. Space 14 was so level it needed no adjustments and all the hookups are great. The wifi was excellent and needed no boosting. Verizon and ATT are strong in the area except when you get up into the mountains, at which point you will see the "NO Service" sign. Nice bathhouse with clean restroom. All the hot water you want.||||Some road noise off of 441 but if mostly rush hour is all. They have internet but on my Seiki tv didn't work and since wifi was so strong we just watched our ROKU for everything. I would definately stay here again. Price is very good for Passport America.||||When you make you turn into the location off of highway 441, be very awar

We originally reserved our site for 4 nights but extended it to stay to 8 nights since we loved it so much. It is located just off of 441 but not so close that road noise is an issue. It's a perfect location for short drives to Clayton, Franklin, Tallulah Gorge, Hiawassee and a host of great things to see and do. Most of the sites are back ins and quite spacious. We just unhooked our little tow car and had ample room to park it on our site. Everything was clean and neat. Rick, the owner, was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We stayed in a 30 ft class A motorhome with our 2 big golden retrievers. There is plenty of area to walk your dogs. ||||This isn't where you want to take your kids who are easily bored. There is no pool or playground bu

I had to come from out of town due to an unexpected death in my family. Rick hooked me up with one of his cabins, and welcomed my dogs with no hesitation. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. The cabin was very neat, clean, and super cute. Will definitely return, when I am in the area visiting family!
