We were visiting friends in Mt Holly for the weekend, so this location was great for us, about 20 minutes from the places we needed to be, our friends and the National Whitewater Center. The people in the office were super friendly. As are the people in the park. There's a lot of people that seem to live here full time and the park is huge, with a large lake for fishing. We have a smaller camper, so we were in spot 15, right near the pool. Hubby appreciated the flat pad for parking, and the full hook up, which was unexpected for us, we usually stay at state parks which only have partial hookups. I will say bathrooms could use a little improvement, though it seems like most people there don't use the bathhouse. The lights are on timers, which would shut off every time during showers, so b
I am giving this campground 1 star. My husband and I have been on a month long road trip and this was our last stop before heading home. We chose the campground because of how close it was to our friends house in Denver. We have been to many campgrounds and this was by far the worst we have ever stayed at the fire pit was full of garbage and the bathrooms were filthy. Our site was literally in a back parking lot behind a building. The campground is 90% seasonal and the only good thing I can say about that was the seasonals were very nice.
This campground needs updates. WiFi don’t work in the campground, even though they advertise they have WiFi, bathrooms are dirty and smelly compared to a few years back, some of the showers don’t work and there are potholes all throughout the campground. Hopefully the pool won’t leak this year so they don’t have to put cold water in every day. This campground needs new management to fix things instead of buying side by sides to have to play and party on.
Best campground/RV park in the area. Fair priced and very comfortable. Everything is easy access with good accommodations. We’d used the pool rec. room to hold a few church services, and felt very welcomed by the camp staff for our church family. I love the key cards to enter the camp in a vehicle and everyone minding the speed limits. My baby son loved the park. It’s a very clean park that they take pride in. Our 40’ fifth wheel fit great with a truck and small car for parking. It’s very close to a laundromat and gas station. Plus a lot of awesome restaurants within 10 minutes. We were here in winter so not much outside activities but I can tell in summer this would be the place to be. My only complaint and it’s not the parks fault is the crazy drivers on 150. The road gets very very busy
We had an amazing time! The bathrooms and changing rooms for the pool were super clean as well as the pool. The customer service was incredibly wonderful. I can't wait to plan our next visit.
