Been camping here since I was born its the nicest campground in Pennsylvania far as im concerned! Beautiful park, beautiful lake. The fishing is so so it used to be better when I was a kid. Walleye and crappie. However they stopped stocking Walleye and started stocking northern pike instead which Is a big bummer. I highly recommend this park! Nice bathrooms for the most part. Hot showers some sites are more private than others. I camp here every year in the same spot my parents and grandparents took me every summer!
We had an absolute blast. The area was gorgeous and well maintained. We felt safe and secure the entire weekend .
Had a wonderful time camping here. Though it was full with many campers, we still found it to be quiet and relaxing. The beach area is really nice and the camp store had everything you could possibly need including really good ice-cream! The kids had fun fishing and I saw lots of kayaks being used as well. Shower house was nothing special but the water was warm and water pressure was good. There was also a down washing station at the shower house which was nice. I definitely recommend this place!
The campgrounds and cabins are off Beaver Valley Road. It's a 398-site tent and trailer campground, some with electric hookups, opens the second Friday in April and closes the last Monday in October. Facilities and services offered in the campground include: camp store (picture 2) with coin-operated laundry, swimming beach, boat mooring area, boat rental, playgrounds, paved sites, showers, flush toilets, and sanitary dump stations. Meanwhile, there are three cottages and two deluxe cottages (picture 1) in the campground area with decks that overlook the lake. Each cottage sleeps five people in bunk beds and has lights, outlets, and electric heat. The deluxe cottages also have a small kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator, range, and microwave oven. The cottages are available from the second
Crooked Run campground is our go-to camping spot. It's always clean, has everything we need for a weekend getaway, or, as we did this past summer, a full two-week stay. They have tons of activities for kids and adults of every age and offer walking trails, a bike course, swimming at the campground beach, boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, fishing, and tons of educational group activities. They offer pet friendly campsites and walking areas, full hookup sites for the glampers, or non electric sites for those that want to "rough it" a little more. All campground loops have full bath houses with hot and cold running water for showers and outdoor dishwashing stations. And the camp store has everything you could possibly need or want, including full cooked dinners and tons of ice cream and
