Critter creek campground is the perfect place to stop if you are coming up during sunset. The road past this point is quite winding and steep and I dont suggest you do it in the dark, then add the hazard of the wildlife, it could be quite dangerous. There are also some beautiful views that you will miss driving in the dark. The campground was quite and the camp host greeted us even though we rolled on at 920pm. There really isn't much for amenities here but it suited our needs and fit just perfect.
What an amazing location for a getaway!! It located in the middle of the national forest with tons of beautiful roads to explore! Mike and Christie the park host/owners are absolute gems! Very clean full bathroom for much needed showers after cruising the mountains. I’ll definitely be making this an annual trip!!
If you truly want to getaway from everything but nature. This is the perfect place for you
place is beyond beautiful!! everything u need for a camping trip shower and running toilet to make you feel at home on ur trip next to great hunting spots ! recommend 100% not to mention the owners mike an christie are amazing!!!!!!!!
Nice spot across from wildwood thats nice drive and some nice hikes walks. You have rv not bad to park your traiker or rv. Arpund this time when snows its pretty up there quite. I go to relax and unwind.
