Crestone Inn

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS – THE BLISS ~ HOTEL, INN & RESTAURANT 239 Cottonwood Street, Crestone, CO 81131 📍 Downtown Crestone beneath the Sangre de Cristo Mountains There are places you stay… and then there are places that stay with you. The Bliss in Crestone is the latter. Tucked right into the heart of this wild, mystical, high desert town, it feels less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone’s beautifully eccentric mountain dream. 🌄 You walk out the front door and you are instantly in downtown Crestone. Galleries. Cafes. Retreat centers. Trailheads that lead straight into the rugged Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The energy here is part Colorado backcountry, part spiritual crossroads, part artist colony. And The Bliss sits right in the middle of it all. The rooms are not cookie cutter.

4 of us stayed here 2 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. Nice large space with kitchen and seating area. Suite was clean and was quiet, even with the windows open all night. No A/C, but it's not often required at 8,000 foot elevation. Nothing fancy about the room, but it was comfortable, and a good value; what we expected after ready the Inn's website. Local dining spots were within 100 yds of the Inn, which was nice. The Inn is only 2 miles from the trailhead to Willow Lake and the 14ers Challenger Point and Kit Carson Peak...which was great for an early start for our hike.

This place is amazing! You're near at least 3 hotsprings and walking distance to a market. There's great hiking and a pottery shop in Villa Grove. The rooms are accommodating with a lovely kitchen and delicious spring water. I hope to come back soon.

Really like it here! My room is more of a 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel room. I have a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are separated with a door should you like to close it. There are a couple things that could be upgraded but are minor enough to not affect my review. The TV could be larger than what is in my room and AC would be nice. The kitchen is supplied with just about everything you need as far as utensils go along with a full refrigerator and an apartment size stove. Alanna is a super nice lady and is very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

NEW OWNERS! NEW REVIEW! I stayed in Crestone at the Inn for 2 nights. I was asked to call on the way into town. I called, my phone kept dropping. I drove in and met Alana at the Inn a few minutes after getting in Crestone. I got some ins and outs, a short chat, then paid for my room. I'd booked in advance. Alana said I could pay cash to save on fees. I saved some money there. This isn't a Holiday Inn. It's a wonderful small apartment. Has a full kitchen. Best of all nobody there is gonna bug you. That's why you go to Crestone. I don't want to admit that I watched TV when I was in this mystical land, but after a day at the dunes and hot springs it was nice to sit on a comfy couch and chill that way a bit.
