Crescent Campsites

We had a wonderful stay at Crescent Campsites in July 2025, and it’s a hidden gem! This charming campground is well-maintained and features a picturesque little beach right by the lake, where you can swim, relax, and soak up the sun. It's the perfect spot for creating unforgettable memories! The friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by seasonal campers and fellow visitors adds to its charm. The owner's genuine kindness truly elevates the experience. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit for more unforgettable memories!

I had to pick a "when we traveled" but we are seasonal campers at Crescent campsites for 5 years now. The new owners (as of 2017) have really revived the campground and have many fun activities like corn hole, dart and horse shoe tournaments, bon fires, music on the weekends, etc along with the favorite traditional activities like painting, Christmas in July, Thanksgiving dinner.||The store is re-opened and the washer/dryers are now fixed. ||The other seasonal campers are all wonderful and very friendly. The beach and lake are super clean. We are very happy there and so are others as I think the seasonal sites are now full. ||With the new owners they started to allow daily camping (not just seasonal) so they keep some sites just for that. Friendly, clean and peaceful. Showers are awesome and the beach is beautiful . They have a laundry room with newer 2 coin washers and 2 coin dryers ,Washers $3 and dryers $1.25 for 45 min. And every other weekend there's a band playing for the whole camp site . They have some other events for the camper families . They even go trick or treating in September before packing up for winter . My first yr there and i love it definitely going back next summer .

Quiet, out of the way campground. Beautiful beach, appointed with a few umbrellas so you can avoid cooking yourself. Tent sites have either grass or a nice bed of pine needles. For bicyclists on the trail, note it's not far from Canaan but it is uphill and there are dirt roads involved.

We very much love this campground. It's not your average campground and that's what we love about it. If you like quiet and not to be disturbed, this isn't the place for you. If you enjoy fun activities and a place without the 101 rules, this is the place for you!
