Creekside RV Park & Campground

Nice campground! A short walk to town with a small grocery store and lots of neat architecture, for those of us who enjoy the character of older buildings. No laundry facility (not a big deal - just do laundry at your next stop) but they do have bathrooms and showers for men and women, with a few stalls available for multiple guests. They keep their property up, which as a guest who has experienced campgrounds with deferred maintenance, appreciate! This place is a gem worth stopping at. They don't take reservations but have plenty of sites so just show up. They also don't have the ability to take credit cards at this time but are quite affordable so, bring cash.

It was a wonderful place. Easy in and out, right off I80. Extremely clean bathroom and shower. Reasonable price for full hookup and military discount is offered. Cash or check only. Wifi was appreciated and worked well. The owner is very nice and really cares for his place. If you're a light sleeper, the trains might bother you. I would stay again if driving through the area.

This campground is great. It's right off the interstate and it's open year round. No full hookups in the cold months but he unlocked the heated bathroom for me. Bathroom was squeaky clean. I didn't even have to level my campervan because the site was already perfectly level. The fellow in the office was helpful and even returned my call when I left a message. He very kindly charged me the winter rate $25. A very fair price considering he's heating the bathrooms. I will be stopping here from now on when I pass through. Yes, there are train tracks 250 yards away. I personally don't care because I'm a rail-fan and a train is music to my ears.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Each time I called they answered and were very sweet with all questions. When we arrived we were greeted and shown around and Al took my husband and explained the grounds to him. The grounds were immaculate and sites are very level, perfectly grassy, full hookups and did I mention you can walk to their town if you wanted too? Bowling alley, shops, eateries etc. cute little river that flows on the outskirts of their property, very serene and relaxing here. Close to i80 so it’s convenient too. Rates are very reasonable. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate this is a great Rv park.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 37 foot fifthwheel. Easy on-off I80. Owner met us at arrival and escorted us to a large and level FH site. The trains that go by are numerous and can be noisy, but did not keep us awake. A very nice no frills place to stay. Low rate, paid with cash. Would stay here again if traveling thru Chappell NE.
