Customer Reviews
I had a nice stay for 3 nights. The room was clean and cozy. We had a private bath plus a shared bath. There was a common room with TV and a kitchen. This is a guest house not a BnB so you make your own breakfast in the outfitted kitchen. Walk to hospital or grocer or local hikes. Taxi elsewhere in town. No complaints. No notes.
loved staying at the Cranky Crow. being on my own it was nice to stay in a ‘home’ and have a cozy bed with soft sheets and a duvet. i chose to have my own bathroom as well. |it was an easy 20 minute walk to town and the neighborhood was quiet and welcoming. will definitely stay again. thanks for all the help with questions and taxis and even offering me a lift. |libby wildman
Great place to stay. We reserved the suite which had its own bathroom. We were the only ones there so we had the kitchen to ourselves. Room and bathroom were immaculate.
Four of us rented out the guest house. Although there were some minor issues - the motion sensor for the kitchen lights got turned off, the towels and washcloths wound up all in one bathroom - we got them straightened out and enjoyed our 5 night stay there. Very comfortable, plenty of room (and hot water), a nice communal kitchen and living room. Would most strongly recommend it for a group of friends, not as an individual. John, the owner, was very helpful. It's in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes drive from downtown. More relaxing - and quieter - than the KI where I usually stay when I come to Kodiak.
Absolutely lovely place with an even better host! The place was clean and so so cozy! Adorable decorations, amazing kitchen, fluffy carpets, and super comfy beds. We had plenty of space to do our own thing and the host was incredibly generous and let us have a free late check out because there was no one else coming in that afternoon. 100% would recommend and if I’m ever in Kodiak again this is the place I’m staying.
