Crandon Inn & Suites Hotel near Rhinelander, WI

Stayed at Crandon Inn & Suites during our trip for snowmobiling in the area. It’s probably the only hotel in Crandon, but it turned out to be a very decent and comfortable place to stay. The location is convenient, especially if you’re in town for snowmobiling or outdoor activities. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and overall the stay was smooth with no complaints. If you’re visiting Crandon and need a reliable place to stay, this hotel does the job well.

Stayed here while working out of town for 1 night. 1 room for me and 1 for my coworker. Both of our showers were disgusting. Black slimy mold in both. Gross. Pieces of old soap in each. Low water pressure from each of our dirty shower heads. We both felt dirtier after getting out of our showers. The rest of the room was just ok. It looked nice until you looked closely. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I don't pay for my room, my work does, but I'm never staying here again. I'll drive to Iron Mountain or Rhinelander unpaid to not spend another night here.

It's the biggest and most "modern" hotel in Crandon, but they have a long way to go with making it nice. The soap (I kid you not) is the side of a postage stamp and about as thin. For the price they need to upgrade the soap. Breakfast is lack luster. All the cereals are for children - sugar coated. Lacking HOT water for tea drinkers, and the Styrofoam cups they offer (in two sizes) neither of the lids they officered matched in size. There was remnants of someone's spaghetti dinner on the wall by the desk and dead flies in the windows. Screens were falling off the outside window. It's not my favorite place to stay in Crandon but it was the only one with vacancy. It's over-priced for what it is, in my opinion.

Staying at this very nice, economical place in between living situations. So grateful and glad they can accommodate my dogs and me. The room is large, clean and modern. The sitting room upon entrance to room is very nice for separating dogs from main room and noise control. I have not had any issues with noise. Everyone has been considerate and friendly. Beds are comfy and clean. Breakfast is basic and tasty. 6am-9am. Everyone has been very nice and place has a laid-back vibe. 4 stars because pool is 'broken', however I'm unable to utilize it anyway, to avoid leaving dogs unattended in room. Ice machine was not working. Also, very nice is the Spectrum cable with 2 t.v's. One in sitting room and one in main room.
