Craig Creek Recreation Area

Nice park in all different seasons. Swimming hole is refreshing during the summer months. Fall offers great views of the foliage changing. Has a loop hike of a little over a mile in length. Haven’t tried the camping area. Hope to bring my kayak some day as there is a launch area. The hounds like this area.

Our family stays here several times a year, it's become a family tradition and one of our favorite places to be. The field is perfect for tent camping and there is plenty of space for the kids to play. The swimming area is great and everyone enjoys the rope swing.

Beautiful location. No restrooms available. No cell phone service. We had to drive about 15 minutes away to get service again to get directions home on the gps. We’ll be back but thought people should know those two things.

What a beautiful location. Perfect for day use. We camped here but I am not sure I would recomend it for camping. Restrooms far away from the camping area very hilly. The camping area is walk in only and not good for anyone who has any disabilities. Access to the stream is amazing and I regret not packing the canoe on top of the car. Very peaceful and serene. Definately off the grid. No cell service was both a plus and a minus.

Only camping by reservations... "call this to reserve" but wait.... you don't have cell phone signal here. Bad campsite with a long walk to the river. $25 a night to camp.
