Cozy White Mountain Cabin

What a great get away! The cabin isn't modern, but that added to the charm of it being rustic which is exactly what we were looking for. We initially had a problem with the grill, but the host had someone there the next morning and fixed it. The cabin is stocked with dishes and pans so cooking was easy. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace, and they even supply an axe to cut smaller pieces if needed. The hot tub was amazing and it was fun to sit in it while the snow was falling. Someone nearby has sled dogs and I looked forward to hearing them each night. This is a perfect place to unplug and relax. This host has another cabin in Bath which we stayed at a couple of times, but we liked this one better. We look forward to coming back next winter. Thank you Jenn and Erik.

Nice if you'd like to stay in a private home in the area, and don't mind spending extra. Its not very secluded as it can be seen from the road and there is a house within view a little further down the hill. The cabin was fairly well stocked with spices and coffee, but I'm not sure if it was leftover from previous tenants or if the owners stock it. The fireplace is very nice and so is the hot tub. The place is dated, and there are DVDs and VHS tapes available to watch- most of them work. Additionally there are board games and puzzles. There is a house phone available for use, but it is very staticky and you can't really hear the person on the other line, but it will do in case of an emergency. Do be aware, we were charged $170/night and an $80 cleaning fee at the time of booking, but when

This isn’t as secluded as it sounded in the description. There’s a fairly busy road in full view of the front of the cabin so front windows, hot tub, etc… are all looking at that and being looked at from that. There’s also a house very close by down the hill. The place is also in need of a bit of maintenance. The bifold bathroom door has obviously been off the rail for a while based on how chewed up the floor is. The rail is completely mangled so someone has tried to fix that but it just needs to be replaced at this point. There’s a good bit of other smaller things all over that are broken, rotting, or in need of some TLC. The price is good for the area so that’s a plus. Officially the owner says to bring toilet paper and everything else. From our experience there’s a lot of leftover

We fell totally in love with the Cozy White Mountain Cabin and it's outside hot tub! So beautiful an peaceful! We will be returning!

Not so private or quiet or cozy as claimed. Fine to stay in for a private place if you are in the area
