Cozy Cove Resort

A friend told me to check them out as kind of a last minute idea to get on the lake. Owner and staff were awesome and got us what we wanted. We enjoyed the time we got to spend there.

Cozy cove is located on Marion lake and probably owned by the nicest, most accommodating people I've ever met. Steve and Lynn bend over backwards to take care of their guests and make sure you have whatever you need. Most of the cabins are lakeside with a couple a 2 min walk up the hill. There is a little playground and a small little beach for kids to play. We didn't get to experience the fun of hanging out in their lodge due to covid, but they are stocked with supplies that we could just call and request when needed. The fish cleaning hut was clean and the docks are perfect both for the boats and for kids to jump in the lake. Our cabin was one of the larger ones up on the hill. This resort sent me back in time... to better and easier days !! I loved the owners, the atmosphere, the clear and wonderful lake !! We can't wait to get back there for another visit !!

Great place to stay, quiet place with not to many people pretty cheap rates if you go in the fall or early fall. Great lake to fish caught a lot of fish. If you are bringing kids they will love the blue gills that are very plentiful in the lake and a lot of other species. The only species in the lake we did not catch was bullhead. Also if you are bringing kids be prepared with vhs tapes of some movies and there is no wifi if the kids are phone faced. But other then that it is a great place! Lynn even gave us a free day on the boat and said we could stay another night free! Great people and a great place to stay!

Our week at Cozy Cove is our favorite week of the year!! The cabins are cute and close to the water, boats are kept in good condition, and the lodge is stocked with everything from bait to mac & cheese 😅 Steve, Lyn, and any of their grown kids are always willing to give you fishing tips, but we've never had trouble catching the limit. Good bass, northern, and walleye in Lake Marion, as well as all the typical smaller fish like sunnies and crappie. They've also put in a nice little wading beach by the docks. There's a cafe/bakery in Dent with cinnamon rolls well worth the 10-minute drive; and the International Turtle Races in nearby Perham are always a good time. Make sure you get cheese curds while you're in town!
