Courtyard by Marriott Midland

This is an old hotel and fairly run down. Rooms we OK. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. There are some newer options in the area that would be better choices

Horrible hotel for the price. Our bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever had, lumpy, caved in, I felt like I was sleeping in a hole. Pillows are rock hard. Furniture is worn out, and used. There is stains on my wall of dripping liquid running down, so gross. Shower door doesn’t close so water pools outside the shower. No hot water. Accent furniture in the hallways are so worn and outdated and unmatching looks like they came from goodwill. Total ripoff and how this place has 4 stars in a mystery because there’s no way. This is not a standard Marriott hotel. Several nights I could hear the person next to me conversation clear as day.

The hotel was nice and the staff were great. Very relaxing and quite environment. Unfortunately, my only complaint was the mattress. It had seen its useful life many years ago. There were two definitive sink holes in the mattress, one on each side. I cannot imagine how long it takes for that to happen to a mattress. As comfortable as I was there, it was a miserable sleeping experience. If you get a good bed you’ll be happy. Not so much if you get a bed like I had.

A good roadside stay in what must be a very new property. Clean and comfortable, nice bed, good bathroom and shower. Room a little small but it’s what’s expected at Courtyard and you have to know your brands. Convenient location on the border between Midland and Odessa. Friendly morning staff

I stayed here for a work trip, so I was hardly ever in my room. The rooms are nice maybe some remodeling but nothing serious. My problem was the customer service, I had to be up early for meetings so I always went down to get breakfast the morning ladies were the absolute best, always had a smile and great customer service. My problem was, the evening workers. The cafe closes at 10, I would get back to my hotel almost every night at exactly 9. And yes I would get the cafe food because it was easier for me, the two girls there had awful customer service. I get it was only an hour before closing and I apologized multiple times but I did not want to go back out after long day of meetings.
