Courtyard by Marriott Miami Downtown/Brickell Area

We had a great stay at this Courtyard after returning from a cruise. The rooms were what we've come to expect from a courtyard, very clean and comfortable. Christopher at The Bistro was great to talk to and order from. Great customer service and so friendly! We will definitely return if we are back in Miami for a future vacation!

My mom and I stayed at this hotel for a cruise back in January. (We were supposed to stay at another hotel but decided not to due to cockroaches) This was one of the few hotels that were available for last minute booking. I read the reviews online and was skeptical at first but this hotel is AMAZING. The service is great, staff is positive, very attentive and the restaurant onsite is like a bistro. The food is really good. The staff seemed very personable when asking where we were from and striking up a conversation. They offer a shuttle to the Port of Miami. 10 dollars per person and the shuttle bus is huge. It only took 15 minutes to get to the port. I will say the rooms are very nice. The hotel is conveniently located with walking distance shopping and dining as well as the cruise port. My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to our cruise. ||The shuttle to the cruise port was easy to schedule and they came on time. It was convenient and easy at $10/pp. ||The front desk staff were so friendly and the options in the small store at the front were great for late night snacks and last minute forgotten items. ||The following commentary is mostly on things which are not within the hotel's control but for which I feel other travelers should be aware of.||Our room was located on the 5th floor facing a street that had heavy traffic at what felt like most hours. If you are not used to traffic noise, I would probably recommend asking for a room not facing that are

The service at the bar was excellent. The room was comfortable. The location is good for those who need to be in downtown. The cleaning was a bit superfluous. We stayed there one week, but we received bottles of water and body cream only the first day.

This hotel was not what I expected after reading the reviews of good stays. The Room was comfortable, however, the sofas were very stained. In addition the view of the homeless encampment made the balcony unusable. The smell and the noise of homeless people shouting and making noise all night really disturbed us. As well we asked for a do not disturb sign which the hotel had run out of. They confirmed with housekeeping they would not be disturbing us however multiple times housekeeping knocked and woke up after arriving at 1 o’clock in the morning. As a titanium Elite member I don’t think I would accept this stay in the most basic of hotels.
