Courtyard by Marriott Miami Dadeland

Was it expensive? Yes. However, our stay at the Marriott Bonvoy was quite nice. The room was clean, no odd odors or noises. The valet service was excellent. It was also a separate cost and very expensive. The front desk service was very good. Even being in a very congested downtown area, the room was relatively quite. The curtains are completely room darkening which allow us to sleep well. The bed was comfortable. A big plus was the Publix right across the street. I was surprised that there was no free breakfast or even coffee. They charge for everything. The Bistro is very expensive and the food not great. Only 1 out of 2 elevators were working which led to long waits for the single elevator. I had family members staying across the street at the main Marriot who said the Bonvoy was nicer.

I had a reservation on September 7, 2025 and arrived at 4 a.m. to check in. The receptionist told me I had to wait an hour, so I asked to cancel. She assured me three times that it was canceled and no charge would be made.||That was a lie. Two days later, I discovered the full amount charged to my credit card even though I never stayed. This is dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.||Do not trust anything they say unless you get it in writing. This place is a scam. One star only because zero is not possible.

My last experience with Marriott Tacoma was unacceptable and I haven’t stayed in the chain since. Today - the experience was amazing. I said it was my moms birthday and I was traveling with her, and they put some simple but very much appreciated decorations in the room. Everyone was also super nice and had a smile. Thank you Carlos & Team for renewing my trust in this chain, as someone who travels 5+ nights a month for work I’m glad Marriott is back in the table thanks to you!

The decor and style of the hotel was modern and pleasant. The added bonus was the balcony. Additionally, the layout of the bathroom was spacious and felt like at home. The bed was comfortable and relaxing. As soon as my head hit the fluffy pillows, I was knocked out. I would definitely stay here again. Also, the valet staff was excellent! They were friendly and had excellent customer service!

I paid a lot of money for this stay and it was a terrible experience. I purchased breakfast through the Expedia app, but the hotel never included it and never provided the breakfast coupon/voucher. We waited around 30 minutes in line just to place an order because they were short-staffed. The only employee working was calm and patient, but he clearly needed help. After ordering, it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. My sister ordered the avocado toast and it was extremely small—one piece of toast with barely any avocado. We had to share food and then buy more elsewhere because it wasn’t enough. When we finally went back up around 11:10, we were locked out of our room and had to go back down to get it unlocked.
