Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral

This was a one night stay before going on our cruise. The service was good, rooms were clean, and the staff friendly. It was perfect for what we needed. The air conditioning was cold and the shower water was hot. The water pressure was strong. Truly everything that I needed for its purpose.

We stayed here over the holidays (Dec 23–Jan 2), and I strictly do not recommend this hotel. It was a stressful and unsanitary experience from start to finish.||The cleanliness levels were appalling. The carpet and furniture are old, but worse, they are filthy. The mattress on the sofa bed and the seat cushions were disgusting. Housekeeping does not clean daily, and even when they did visit, the room remained dirty. I overheard another guest complain that when he checked in one of the windows was completely covered with milk. The worst part was that our daughter developed a rash due to bedbugs and dust mites. Stayed at the hotel for one night due to flight cancellation. They had a shuttle bus, and were offered to schedule a shuttle to the airport for my flight the next day when I checked in. I asked for the shuttle the next day for my flight. Besides being 36 minutes late, when I got to the airport, the driver asked me to pay $63. Being under the assumption that this was a hotel shuttle, I didn't have to pay. Plus, I could have easily taken an Uber for $24. The front desk specifically said she ordered a shuttle, but did not disclose the price. They have a Marriott shuttle bus as well. HIGHLY UNETHICAL!

Location is great ... Super close to airport. Hotel is decent enough... But weekends and holidays they have an extreme parking issue! Gym looked nice... But 2 or the 3 treamills didn't work, dumbbell selection is a little lacking (they go from 25 to 50lbs?!?), and they have a water dispenser... But no cups!?!
