I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Bloomington while in town on business. The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, and the location is excellent — within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants.||One thing to note is that there’s a charge for parking in the hotel’s lot, which was a bit unexpected. Also, it would have been nice to have complimentary coffee available in the morning instead of only the paid Starbucks option. (In-Room coffee was horrible)||Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable place to stay with a great location, especially for travelers who want easy access to downtown amenities.

paid parking for their own parking lot that is not included with your stay. So plan to pay for parking. I was on the fifth floor. The room that I was in had a horrible water pressure and the water pressure was not just bad, but also not very hot for very long at all. My friend used to work here and after talking to her, I found out that the hot tub has been broken on and off for like three years. Or at least since she’s worked there. The only reason I booked this hotel over the Hyatt for New Year’s Eve was because it had a hot tub. The Hyatt at least has free breakfast. You are going to be charged an arm and a leg for everything at this hotel. it wasn’t a terrible experience. It wasn’t a nightmare experience. It’s just that things were a little odd. Lots of like overcrowded power strips fo

The rooms were normal and standard and check in was easy. Unfortunately, we had a room that faced the front of hotel which looked out to the main road. The cars were so loud that you would’ve thought the windows were always open. Also, there is major construction going on directly across the street so at 4am when they start work, you hear everything. The hotel did not inform us that they are currently undergoing a “refresh” until we arrived. This meant the pool was down, the hotel was being worked on and smelled strongly of paint, and the cafe was down during this refresh. The heater/ac/fan in our room was semi-functional. I hoped to use the always on fan to drown out all the construction and car noise but the button was not working. It is on me for not complaining and asking for a new

Positive: The free breakfast was not free . The hot tub was not operational and neither was the pool . All were in our search to find the optimal hotel. This place missed it.We also found out after we left it is $20.00 per day parking ! Negative: The staff and the decor where great

Our room was comfortable and well-maintained. It's a nice place in a good location, with a very friendly and helpful staff. Two negatives: parking is $15/night. Across the corner there's a city deck that charges 50¢/hour. Just do the math on the 5-minute walk. Also, breakfast at the bistro is pricey, as you'd expect in any hotel. But when the menu says Vermont maple syrup with the French toast, that's what I'd expect to pay $11.50 for. Instead, it was completely artificial syrup, no Vermont, no maple. That's just wrong.
