The staff was very nice. However this hotel has gone way down hill and badly needs service or money or something. Elevator broken, this has to be against ADA laws. Vending machine empty, pretty sure they just decided to stop offering vending?! Pool, closed, empty. They say a light is broken and they are waiting on a part. I'd be willing to bet it never reopens. We've stayed here multiple times in the past and it was always nice and clean and cozy. This time I considered not sleeping there and just losing the money I spent on the room because I didn't want to deal with any of it. Rooms sub par on cleanliness. I have been staying at this hotel every November for 12 years now. Ever since new owners took over it has been going downhill. The outside of the building is falling apart including the siding and roofing. You can see where it has been patched up. The cleanliness inside has declined as well. The vending machines have been empty for years. The elevator hasn’t been working. The breakfast is subpar. They used to accommodate for hunters and have breakfast ready early but they didn’t this year. In my room an outlet by the bed wasn’t working, the bathroom wall was filthy, and the sink was clogging. Now the only reason I stay there is out of convenience. Some guys in my group started staying at a hotel 30 minutes away. One guy two years ago had bed bugs in his room. We have been coming to this hotel for many years. Each year it seems to continue to go downhill. We were informed upon arrival that we would have to pay in cash. The pool area use to be clean and vibrant. The hot tub has been filled in with cement and there were dead flies in the pool. When we got in our room, the bathroom floor was not swept/cleaned. The shower curtain was stained and have spots of mold on the bottom. The elevator has been out of service since July. No working ice machines or vending machines. Location is great along 20. But other than that, it’s not worth the stay.

This Property needs to be shut down! Nothing works(elevator,vending machines, front desk person) I stayed for 3 nights total. on the first night after plowing and shoveling from the snow storm a friend of mine who i worked with came into room for a few hours to warm up and sit for a little bit(2-3 Hours) we got done with work at about 2am he left at roughly 4:30am i woke to a call from the front desk at 7:30a informing me that i was being charged extra because i had someone extra stay, which i did not. The front desk was rude and would not let me speak to inform him of overnight work and my friend just coming in to chill for a bit. What was to cost $82 ended up costing $238. Positive: Was the location we needed Negative: Pool was closed (no notification), all 3 treadmills in tiny workout room were old & broken. A light out in bathroom. A really bad patch job for a hole on the back of the bathroom door. Breakfast was old cookies & packets of different kinds of oatmeal
