Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Jonesborough-Johnson City West, TN

Positive: Breakfast was consistent. Pool was clean and the area was quiet. Negative: The hotel needs to do a better job of cleaning and vacuuming. We were there 9 days, and the same dirt and debris were on the floors and stairs the entire time!

This is a honest review with a mixed bag of where I should have scored. ** forgot to mention we are on EST like the hotel. The hotel had the audacity to call us at 12:30 in the morning being that it just showed us a 423 phone number. I thought it was an emergency from the hospital when I answered it being drugged out of my sleep to find out that it was a hotel, calling to tell me. There was an article of clothing left the person who ever called did not seem to have comprehension that the fact that it was 12:30 in the morning and they woke us up. 9-9 rule applies you don’t call people before 9-am or after 9pm let alone at 12:30 in the morning. So there was two rooms total within the family that rented the one set said the service was awesome and great and then there’s us who the first day w

I arrived with reservations for a room for two for two nights. I checked in, paid the $100 security deposit despite paying in advance through Expedia.com and walked away. I remembered I had a pet and returned to notify the clerk. She told me they had a no pets policy and SHE cancelled my reservation, refunded the $100 and told me I had to get the refund through Expedia. We left and stayed somewhere else. When we got home and I contacted Expedia for the refund the hotel had charged me for one night because I had violated their policy of not giving 72 hours notice to cancel. I did not cancel. They did. I had no intention to cancel. We needed them. Expedia fought for me but they would not refund $124.16 for one night. We never made it past the desk and my wife was never in the buil

Terrible experience upon check in! Was not acknowledged as a diamond member! Hotel requires a $100 deposit, No one informed me of their very strict policy until. When I spoke with Skye around 10 pm over the phone she checked me in. When I arrived at 230 am I was told about the strict incidental policy and all forms of payment were denied including my cash! They kept my 15k reward points that I had used to book the room! I will never book here again, nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone! I travel for work 50 weeks out of the year, this is the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered in 15 years. I've traveled from the East coast to the West coast and everywhere in between.

Hotel was quiet and clean. Room was comfortable. Pool was not crowded with a bathroom in the pool area. Hard to find the entry way from the road. Staff was friendly except 1 of the breakfast room workers. Burnt potatoes and oversalted eggs. Biscuits and gravy was excellent. Lobby is large and welcoming, games and puzzles available to use. Will stay here again.
