Country Inn Sonora

The room was very nice BUT... The big screen TV did not work & when we went for breakfast there was none. The morning desk help was extremely rude. We were told "They don't offer breakfast!" But it was advertised through our app that continental breakfast was included. As for the TV the night manager brought up her personal tv for us to use and for that, we were grateful. BUT... she also told us our room was not to be rented because of of the broken TV. I also didnt appreciate guests smoking cannibis outside the upper rooms. Overall nice motel...But too many BUTS! Look elseware for a motel.

Kind of a weird layout with 2 showers and one toilet but no door to close off the two showers so forget privacy. It had a hot plate, kitchen sink and came with one knife and one fork and 6 plates and a couple of fry pans, 2 fridges. Moderately clean..the wifi is horrible so dont plan on doing a lot on the internet. This was a room with two queen beds suitable for 2 or more. Very nice people at the checkin desk. Unfortunately the owner needs to put a bit of money back into the business. Not very good unless your on a very limited budget

Great stay. Got a balcony room this time (3rd stay). Room was smaller but enjoyed the balcony more than expected. Beautiful weather allowed us to leave door open and enjoy drinks on patio. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is a older but always updating. Found great low prices online. We like that is just on the outskirts, quite and able to enjoy the beautiful trees. Was our base camp for 6 nights and was convenient for all our daily adventures. Room pictures and stuff we did. Room 301, end room top floor (parking on 3rd level, no elevator). The 108 runs in front of hotel, hard to see on pictures with stairs, but we have never have had an issues with noise from traffic. Just an FYI, the 2nd level is stair access only.

The room is clean, staff are friendly. And heater noises acceptable, consider quiet among motels, to Yosemite about 1 hour 40 mins. Overall it’s good.

The place is very cute and clean, they do have a lot of stray cats which I found as a plus! Had to go back three different times due to our key card/or the room lock not working - before they decided to just move us rooms with a smaller bed.. Service desk is 24/7 and employees were pretty nice!
