Friendly staff and reasonable pricing, but the pool was closed due to maintenance and some repairs across the building are needed.

On check in Carol at the front was very pleasant and friendly. The room was super clean with nice furniture, flat screen TV and again very clean. The pool and hot tub were clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was just that- they don't advertise a full breakfast so those complaining should re-read the hotels website. The breakfast was just fine with a nice variety of items. This place felt "homey" to us on a damp cold night. Check out was just great with the front desk giving us travel highlights for the day to check out. The town is really nice and we shall return again.

I think it was over priced for the amenities available. we booked the hotel wanting to use the pool after a long day.. but the pool was not usable.we were not compensated for any of the 3 days we stayed there, the price came with a usable pool and there was not.. room keys did not work and we were locked out of our room at 7 15 am along with another guest . we were looking for someone and no one was around , we even went behind the counter to see if someone was hurt and no one in the office either . so needless to say we were screwed we waited till 8 oclock and then left to come back later with out shoes. you can check your cameras for saturday morning to see im not making this up .

Family friendly. They go out if their way to make guests comfortable.

My family and I booked two rooms for two nights to attend our son"s wedding at Giant"s Ridge. When I called two weeks prior to our stay on July 11 and 12 to confirm our rooms, I specifically asked about the pool and hot tub because our three young grandchildren were so excited to use them. The woman I spoke with confirmed there was a pool and Hot tub. We arrived and saw a notice on the door saying the pool and hot tub couldn't be used.Our granddaughter was so disappointed she cried. When I asked the man at the front desk how long it had been since they were shut down, he said, Oh for quite some time. I can't tell you how upset I was to hear his reply. If I had been told that information when I called, I most certainly would have booked rooms somewhere else for the sake of our grandchildren
