Country Inn

Sally is fantastic and is so friendly I love just chatting with her! I’ve stayed here several times in different seasons and nothing makes me happier than the excellent showers and the comfy pillows. Her pricing is so reasonable and you get waaaay more than what you pay for! Typically I don’t use the TV or coffee maker as I bring my laptop to watch Netflix and don’t drink coffee, but I make great use of the fridge and microwave. Perfect for a little hideaway vacation :) it always smells so good in there too. It’s always clean, nice atmosphere, and the time I was there in November I got to play with puppies:) I love this place, and I love the management :) :) :) will be staying there again soon!

Absolute disappointment! My parents made reservations 19 days in advance for a two night stay. After traveling nearly 400 miles they arrived to check in. They had been informed that the previous guest had left their property in the room and didn't check out. My parents returned in the evening and had been informed that the room was clean and the previous guest's valuable had been removed, but they still didn't check out and had a key for the room! An absolute disappointment of an establishment, they don't honor reservations.

I enjoyed my two night stay. The rooms were a bit out dated, but comfortable. The owners made sure that the fridge was working and that the heat was at a good temperature before we even checked in. The price was great. I paid with taxes about $62.00 a night. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Very affordable, very nice owner. We showed up pretty late at night, and we got the perfect room for our needs. It was absolutely charming! The cozy furniture, prints, and lights made me feel like I was at home. It was also very quiet, in an area with some beautiful nature I wish we'd had time to explore. Though, bug spray would have been helpful 😅 (we visited in June 2020.) Though, with this being a motel, load in and out was super easy, and it was also convenient for us to smoke/vape outside as well. I only give 4 stars, because there were some things that would be missing for some- they had a CRT TV instead of a flat screen, but there was also cable- and I think it was the only time I used the tv my whole trip! There was an ac unit and a baseboard

If you are in Elbow Lake for an emergency or dead tired, this is the only lodging for about 20 miles. I stayed here while working on a construction project. I know this is a small town and didn't expect the motel to be like The Hilton Garden Inn by any means, but still was surprised how rundown my room was. The Country Inn Motel needs improvement. ||There were stains all over the rugs and the chair at the small table. The bed had seen better days, or else someone let their kids use it as a trampoline. When I stayed there that night, I noticed you could see right through the thin curtain in my room by the door, and the heavier backing or blinds had been removed. I took the aged "comforter" off my bed and hung it over the window as didn't want to be watched in my room if someone walked by wh
