Country Host Motel

I'm giving this location 5 stars for the lady at the front desk who went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one.. the hotel is a bit dated and lacks a lot of the normal things you'll get elsewhere. But it's peaceful and quiet.. and the hospitality is top notch

This will be the most harsh review I have ever posted but this motel should be shut down. Don't stay there unless your selling your body for crack or a customer of such a person. The front desk people are not accomodating. The room was semi clean but don't open any of the drawers-they are disgusting. Haven't been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had towells with spots on them and they were very thin and worn. I dried myself with a t shirt rather than use the towels.I had a room with 2 queen beds and one was lumpy and leaned to one side. The other was barely comfortable. Has a tiny tiny fridge no microwave no coffee maker. The door has no chain and the deadbolt was extremely hard to operate and when I had it locked I found it extremely hard to open up the door to get out. This place is

Ended up at this motel after driving for hours thru Chicago never-ending road construction on July 4th weekend. It had the only 1st floor smoking room available within 2 hours, so decided to stop. The owner/manager was very nice. The location was safe, the linens appeared to be new, clean and of good quality. The Room however, was in quite shocking shape... especially for $75. It was apparently a room that was in the middle of a remodel. This was never told to us. The carpet had been pulled and replaced with vinyl "hardwood", which was nice. There was one queen bed that appeared to be new, the other bed was missing (but we only needed one bed). There was supposed to be a fridge and microwave. There was only a fridge that was the size of a tiny cooler, but no microwave. There was 1 nights

Very friendly staff, gave us a discount on our room. Rooms were clean. Beds we're comfortable! Nice clean exterior no bums hanging around. There's a microwave and mini fridge. Only complaint would be a few holes in the wall but that's about it!

On Friday June 6th this place literally saved my life .. I'm a 65 yr old Disabled Homeless Army Veteran who just had Chemo Therapy on Tuesday only to be kicked out of my residence on Friday and couldn't afford regular hotel rates in the area .. this place gave me a solid bed to sleep on and bathroom to use during my treatment cycle ..
