Country Gardens Motel & Lounge

I’m reviewing the restaurant. I’ve never stayed in their hotel. This restaurant has a nice salad bar where everything is nicely chilled and fresh. There’s also warm soup and cheese spread! The menu has a lot of choices. I noticed many tables had ordered pizza. It looked delicious. We ordered steaks and burgers and everything was tasty. I was especially pleased that I could get a 6 oz steak as a few of us are light eaters and steak under $17 at a restaurant is a rarity. I always order rare and this places has nailed it the 4-5 times I’ve been here. Service is efficient and friendly. The only downside is that I find their main seating area very poorly lit. Definitely great food if you’re looking for a nice dinner.

I'm not completely sure what to say about this place. It is a nice restaurant, but very expensive considering the location. They also only serve high priced items on the weekend rather than burgers and regular food. (The menu is more of a classy sit down restaurant, rather than what i would have expected.) I heard good things about the pizza, but the guys who got steak in our group said that it lacked seasoning. For what I paid, I expected more flavoring with the pork tenders. The soup and salad bar is pretty nice. While I understand what they are going for, it would be nice if they offered a more traditional menu opening week of deer season. Went to the restaurant. Will never go back, had a gift certificate so we decided to go. Prices are crazy high for how much you are actually getting, asked for rare steak got pretty much well done, got a burger that was really rare, even the salad bar sucked. Bartender was not friendly, they watched cameras just to come yell at us for a parent letting her 18 year old daughter have a sip of a drink. So many better places to go for better food for cheaper too! The left overs will be going to the dogs if they will even that chewy steak.

Not just a hotel and bar. Great dinners here and a salad bar. Staff is warm and friendly with great service. Cozy atmosphere.

Great place room was a little small but for a overnighter it was great. Room was very clean and the restaurant was not what you would expect in a very small town decor is beautiful. The pizza was awsome only complaint would be the salad bar could use a few more items but good salad bar.
