Our family of 6 had a blast on a Sunday afternoon. This was our first time tubing on this river and going to Country Camping resort. The staff was pleasant, the bus ride was nice and easy. The tubes were nice, and the river was so fun. Tubing is one of my favorite summer hobbies, I’m glad to have found this just a half hour from home rather than driving over an hour some place else. The process was easy, smooth and quick. Just wish our float was longer-(My only complaint.) I will definitely be back before summer ends! My kids loved swimming in the river, it was clean. The rope off to the side was so much fun for us and many others as there was a nice line. Everyone we crossed paths with were nice and it’s definitely family friendly or even fun for adults!!! I cannot wait to come back for m

We haven't been able to do the camping experience YET.. but we went there to go tubing ...me and my two grandchildren who love the water! It was a great experience! Reasonable amount of money for a lifetime of memories! They Supply the tubes and the ride up River in a bus type vehicle ( bring your own life jackets if you need them) I also liked that the tubes had ropes on them so you could tie your tubes together... the river was actually comfortable not too cold.. higher than normal but nothing dangerous.. and my 10-year-old grandson was able to touch quite a few times.. there were a few trees down here and there as we've had a lot of storms lately... but my grandson loved being our pilot .. he made sure we didn't run into any of them..🤗 .. be watching for the country camping signs on th

We like coming to this campground! They have a pool and a splash pad. They have a small little store and a connected game area! They offer tubing down the rum river with a shuttle. It costs extra but is fun. Things to note, the pool is open from 10am to 8pm. Why this closes so early and opens so late in the summer, not sure. It would be better if the hours were 9-9. Just my opinion. There is plenty of seating by the pool. The splash pad is nice. They have an area for basketball and a playground. They even have shuffleboard! They offer cool covered wagons you can rent or rvs. Some of the sites are very open. The primitive sites are closer and some even on the river.

Overall nice place and a good price. The dog park was big and well kept. Pool & Playground could definitely use some updating and TLC with equipment. Staff was super friendly, but there were a lot of smokers and an ashtray/smoking station within the pool area really threw me off. Not on the top of my list for places to revisit, but not a bad experience overall.

Mediocre camping experience. We camp many times a summer, and like to try new places. We probably won't be retuning to Country Camping. We camped over the 4th of July, and the weather was pretty warm. Friends and us "shared" site 31, which had two hook ups. It was pretty tight. Many of the sites are really small here. We enjoyed the heated pool and splash pad, but the pool is small and closes at 8:00pm. Which when it was 90+ degrees all day and stays light until 9:30, seems silly. Even more silly was that Saturday when it was 90 degrees and had rained all morning campers were told with 15 minutes warning that the pool would be closed from 4:00-8:00 for adults only swim. During that 4 hours there were hardly any people in the pool. They also close the bathrooms at 9:00pm for cleaning, which
