We came to visit the Haunted Woods Trail. They do an amazing job. Very spooky, lots of effort put into this Haunted woods. However for us, after the last segment, the Haunted cemetery, we got on the tractor for the Haunted hay ride to take us back to our cars and we sat on the tractor for 45 minutes. We started at 815 pm but waited for all the actors at the end of the night and didn't get to our car until 10 pm. I felt held hostage and almost called 911. I offered to pay someone in a golf car or truck to take us to our car when the tractor finally moved after almost an hour of sitting in the woods, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere! That was scary. Even the actors felt sorry for us. I will never come here again though hopefully most people will not have this experience. They really d
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Council Cup Campground is an absolute gem! We visited over the 4th of July and it was unforgettable. The live band felt like a full-on concert—great energy, great music. The fireworks show was spectacular, lighting up the whole sky. The natural beauty here is unreal—peaceful woods, tons of wildlife like deer and wild turkeys roaming freely. Every morning, I caught fresh rainbow trout in the stream—can’t beat that for breakfast! Perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and nature. Already planning our next trip!
We were made to feel welcome from the time we checked in. They made sure we were aware of the activities available. The waterfall is just gorgeous. There was a live band the night we were there and we had a blast! We met some amazing people, danced, had pizza and snacks. Everyone was friendly. Surround yourself with good people and good times are sure to follow. We can't wait to go back!
Remembering this experience to the best of my ability. We went to this place a few years back and had a pretty good experience. We came back up here for a weekend getaway with friends. We were given a good amount of space to camp so no complaint to that. Upon arrival, the portable bathroom was not clean at all and had clearly not been serviced for some time. One of our friends attending the trip was turned away from the campground for bringing her dog. Their website says they are pet friendly so definitely misleading. This friend drove almost two hours just to drive back. Throughout the trip, there were guns going off on the property which scared us a lot, being out and vulnerable with no cell service. Most of the campground doesn't have camping spaces because there are trailers with what
We stayed at here for 2 nights. The seasonal campers were all so nice. It's a family ran campground and the owners were nice and welcoming as well. They have turkeys and ducks and chickens running around the front area which was cute. Would come back and recommend
