Cottonwood Inn

Rooms were nice. The beds are super soft and comfy and the front desk lady was sooo nice and helpful. Would stay again but I would book online. Very quiet place!! We really enjoyed it more than we thought we would! Thank yall for this mom and pops hotel!

We were lucky enough to find this motel to stay in for the 2024 eclipse. They were the only hotel in 500 miles that weren’t gouging prices and were in the path of totality. We had an absolutely fantastic 2 day stay. Everyone that worked there was friendly and the rooms were clean and had nice amenities. The outside covered patio was really nice to sit out on during the afternoon and evening. Great location and within short distance to a few restaurants and a grocery store.

After a day of driving some pretty hilly winding highways in northern Arkansas in a pouring rain I decided to pull over and find a room earlier than I had planned on. There weren't a whole lot of options but I did come across the Cottonwood Inn and based on reviews decided to give it a try. The rooms are dated, but they were clean, everything worked, it is in a quiet area, and the people running the place couldn't have been nicer.

Positive: The only thing I can think of Good about that is the bed was comfortable. Negative: Yes, it was horrible. The room needed a lot of repairs. You had to wear shoes to make sure you did not get a splinter in your foot. The sheets had holes in it. The bedspread had a hole in it. It was missing electric plates for training on light switch.

Pulled back to the blankets on the bed and there were blood stains on the sheets. Little tiny spots like people had slept in it with open sores. Human filth in the sheets. Both beds like that. When I went to check in it took the girl six times to get my card right. Took me over an hour to check in. Then when I go to talk to the lady in the front office she tells me that they don't put sheets on the bed with blood stains on it. And pretty much just said I was a liar. Do not stay here. I also saw signs of bed bugs. I was not bitten that I know of but I did see signs of it.
