I needed last minute lodging for a local celebration and everyplace in the area was booked. Not only did Samantha suggest another alternative B&B down the road, but when she received a cancellation the following day, she tracked down my number to offer it to me! Incredibly kind and thoughtful to go out of her way for me. Although we no longer needed the room, I would definitely book here next time we are in the area!

My sister and nieces stayed here for a 3 day weekend and it's gorgeous. Peaceful surroundings and very nice people. If you like the woods and peace n quiet, this is the place to stay. Almost forgot, the lodges are very clean and comfy with books, movies, puzzles and games. Great place. :)

We loved every minute here and can’t wait to come back. We stayed in the Bear Lodge. It”s quaint, rustic and comfortable. We loved sitting on the screen porch with coffee in the morning listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing in the peaceful, tranquil setting. The owners Art and Sue could not be more accommodating or hospitable. They have and maintain a beautiful property with a rich history that they honor and we loved reading and hearing about. Sue’s artwork is beautiful and throughout the property. They make their own pure maple syrup in a barn on the property and they graciously gave us a tour. The syrup is delicious and it’s sold all around town. We are taking some home but also got to have it at a local breakfast place too. And we got Sue’s cookbook and we are looking

We wanted to have a get-away to a cottage that would be peaceful and not too far from home, our stay in Wolf Lodge was perfect! The owners left a hand-written note welcoming us to the cottage which made us feel right at home. The thoughtful amenities from utensils to use with the barbecue, to coffee and biscuits, plates, cups, wine glasses, etc were very appreciated. In the evening when it rained it was great to sit on the screened in porch and listen to the rain or watch a movie from the DVD or VCR collection. The owners also opened up the High Acres Maple Syrup Store and allowed us to browse the wonderful organic, all natural teas, handmade soaps, and of course their wonderful maple syrup! We will definitely be back again in the future and recommend the cottages to our friends and famil

My family of 4 stayed at the Winston-Brown cottage for 5 nights. The cottage is wonderful, clean and spacious. The large variety of DVD's & VHS tapes was a great way to combat not having a TV signal. Being disconnected from the real world made the time very relaxing. However, the part that made our trip unexpectantly wonderful was Capt. Art & Ms. Sue. We spent much time sitting with Art & Sue, listening to their stories and their life adventures. Such delightful people to have gotten to know. Can't wait to return to Oak Hill Farm again in the future.
