My preferred parking location when visiting Coronado Beach is this convenient free spot that provides direct access to the beach, unlike street parking that necessitates navigating through 200 yards of sand. Furthermore, the parking lot is equipped with trash cans and a concrete ramp to facilitate easy access to the beach.
A public parking lot. Free. To reach the parking lot, you must drive past the guard shack of the Coronado Shores Condominiums. You'll see signs that say "Private Property", but you can drive past the guard shack to the free public parking lot. The lot can get full in the summer, but usually has empty spots in other seasons.
Great spot to park for FREE with beach access and walking distance to Hotel Del Coronado!
