Camped Thanksgiving and will camp Christmas if the weather holds. Clean, not crowded, and can usually find ample firewood. The sunrises are spectacular. I'm glad I wake up at 5am naturally because some sunrises will take your breath away.
This is a hidden gem. I definitely recommend coming here. There is water, bathroom, fire pit ,picknick tables,lake,paved space for your RV, and trash you can stay for up to 14 days. No resignation needed. The only thing that that ask is to please keep it clean, and respect the rules.
lake view, no swimming. has clean vault toilet restroom . trash receptacle. nice fire rings. pine tres. oaks. squirrels. few mosquitoes 🦟 in october. perfect weather for a hammock. noce breeze off the lake.
Beautiful area, super quiet. We had a couple of neighbors, but rarely heard them. The fire pit was missing, so that was a bummer. The vault toilet was fine, but really dark inside. Would be a great spot for fishing.
Southside was crowded with hunters but the primitive north shore was beautiful. Really only one heavily established primitive spot that I found but it was great! Decently crowded for mid-week fall camping
