We were driving through Iowa and needed a safe, clean, quiet place to spend the night. This was it. It is only a couple of miles off I-35 (oh, if coming from I-35, turn in AFTER the pond at the tree lined drive. Don't turn onto the gravel road before the pond). We knew ahead of time that there weren't any amenities, so we were prepared and knew what we were getting. It was clean, it was quiet except for the occasional car driving down the road (local, not highway), and we felt safe. There is a nice pond and we noticed a few people fishing. It was very pretty at sunset and sunrise. Verizon service was good and there were plenty of places to walk the dog. We stayed at site #13, electricity only. For our one night stay, it was perfect. Bill was very friendly and checked in with us on arrival

We stayed at corn patch corner while traveling from Wisconsin back to Oklahoma, we just needed a place to stay the night and this was a great little spot to stay! Was just 2 miles off I-35 so location was great. No restrooms or showers (fine with us, we have our own, lol) but the grounds were very well kept and was a very neat little campground. Only about 16-17 sites and mostly just electric & water but did have a few longer full hook up sites which worked great for us, we easily got our 42ft 5th wheel and truck in with no need to unhook. And the other plus was it was a super quiet! Great place for an overnight stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stop again.

We stayed at Cornpatch Corner late May/early June of 2025 for 14 days before/during and after our sons wedding. We loved it so much we returned for the 4th of July holiday after returning from Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore. It’s a very quiet spot where you can walk the gravel roads for exercise or ride your bikes, feed the fish, or just enjoy the beautiful sunrises/sunsets. It is an easy entrance and a great location just east of I-35. Bill the owner is very nice and accommodating. He let us extend our stay with no issues. If you have to have a luxury pad and like high prices, this is not the place for you. It has fire pits, picnic tables and electric hook-ups with 3 or 4 with water and electric and 3 full-hook-ups as well. We will stay there whenever we visit our son in Clear Lake

A great little place in the middle of nowhere. We needed a place to sleep while traveling through Iowa and this was it. All the pull through spots were taken, but their sites are all generously long (50+ feet I think they said) so the one we got was easy to back into. A Very quiet area and we got to enjoy a pretty sunset. The owner stayed with us on the phone giving us precise directions into the campground. No bathroom available yet, but he’s working on getting some. Make sure you bring an extra long hose if you want water hooked up as it’s in a central location for 4 campsites to connect to. I would definitely stay again!

Corn Patch Corner campground is a jewel. Well-run, clean, small, friendly... what else? Beautifully situated, the sites are level (we have a 40' diesel pusher). Top-notch owner running a top-notch campground. We missed our exit; their construction was ongoing, so the owner stayed on the phone with me (40 mins), directing us in. I love this small, cozy campground. It is nestled back but not too far from gas, groceries, and other shopping. We felt very safe when we camped here. There are not enough words to describe how personable and friendly the owner is, he has certainly touched our hearts, and we always stay in touch with him. Thank you Bill for the hospitality, we will be back!
