Corn Creek River Access Site

This is a decent campground at the end of a 45 mile dirt road along the Salmon River. The drive is breathtaking. The campground is okay with vault toilets and water for a very cheap price. There are about 25 first come first served sites. There were mountain sheep that roamed through the campground and it's the jumping off point for trips down the river. It's kind of funny because the campground is a ghost town during the day but fills up more than full almost every night.

Long way in and a small area full of guides and people wanting to fish for steelhead. The goats did like licking the campers stoves clean. 🤪 The area is a site to see for the mountains meet the river.

Breath taking. Old Indian ground there. 47 miles from North Fork on a well maintained gravel road after the pavement ends. The interpretative info on the route needs park service attention. The signs are not legible. Nice the water trucks keep the dust down and the scraper keeps the road smooth.

Absolutely gorgeous! Take the trip all the way down to check this place out. It is beautiful!
