My dad and I went there to do two sections of the Arizona trail. My husband and I liked the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really like the owner, Sam. She is a wonderful lady. She even asked if we needed a ride to the Picketpost trailhead the first time we stayed there. To all Arizona Trail Hiker, this is a place to stay. If we go back to Superior, we would stay there again for sure.

Positive: Despite the outward appearance looking dated, the room was so clean and beautifully painted. Shower was great. Staff was very nice. Price was good, too. Negative: No, everything was quite nice.

I stayed at Copper Mountain Motel for the better part of a year and a half for business and had a wonderful experience. This quaint throwback to the era of the motor hotel on a classic travel route doesn't disappoint. Basic, yet clean and comfortable rooms, with wifi, will greet you at the end of your day. Beautiful views of the cliffs of Apache Leap Tuff that overlook the town of Superior are right outside your room. Access to amenities in the town of Superior are a short walk or drive away.

Me and my wife decided to go on a staycation for after christmas present. Only 2 places in superior to stay aka hotel/motel.We chose this cause of price and pull up to your door parking. Location was close to several restaurants, and not a bad walk into the main drag. The owner Sam was very nice and helpful, made us feel very welcome.||We had a nice clean room #14 at the end, which we liked. It was not very busy as far as we saw after christmas. We went out and hiked, explored all over here for our 3 nights and 2 days.. We would stay here again..||FYI. Instant coffee only at front desk, no biggie to us. Bring your own maker if you want.||Parking can be a bit tight especially if you had a big truck and trailer.||Again the room looks upgraded and was nice and cozy, everything worked fine, ha

The room was very run down compared to the photos on Google and the website. Incomplete paint job, very run down and beat up furniture. I regretted staying here, despite it's proximity to Phoenix. The paint job was spotty and incomplete. The bathroom sink had hot water, yet for some reason the shower water was lukewarm even after running for 15min. I recommend to anyone that they stay on the outskirts of Phoenix rather than staying at this hotel. I travel often, and this hotel is subpar.
