I stayed here a few years ago . It's free and high enough in elevation to be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most campgrounds. It has a water well, pit toilet and a beautiful trout stream. There's even a secret place for a cell phone connection about a mile away.
We stayed a night at copper Creek campground! Wonderful, clean, and safe. The caretaker is a friendly person who has been taking care of copper Creek for 17 years. Who cares about the campground and the campers who stay there!
The ole boy that maintains it does one hell of a job. A+
