Absolutely wonderful! It's like staying at a treasured lake home cabin with all kinds of hand me downs and vintage furniture. The rooms are lovely. It was the depths of winter when we stayed, so it was a bit chill but there were plenty of spare blankets for the comfortable bed. It's a converted church, and only has 3 rooms available, a common living room space and kitchen, full refrigerator, and one communal bathroom with shower only, no tub. It is a wonderful, pure Midwestern hospitality place. And quite the deal at $40 per person per night compared to other "nearby" hotel chains at $120 and up. But if you are expecting posh, sleek, minimalist accommodations, this ain't it. This is like going to Gramma and Grandpa's cabin for a weekend. It asks you to take off yours shoes, put your feet

After the horrors of c#nex I thought I could lie down, unfortunately not, after finding my room I found that you have to fight the current resident to the death in order to claim the room until the next person comes, after a brutal battle and -1 thyroid, i was ready to head to the pool, however within 3 seconds I was temporarily paralyzed by a life guard wearing sunglasses, he proceeded to put me in a leaned back chair and skin me with such precision that I would die of hypothermia before blood loss, he proceeded to put more chlorine in the pool, then cut and dumped 1/8 of the pools size worth of salt in, the lowered me in, turned the lights off, and ended his shift. After being discovered in the morning by a student doctor, I was brought to a hospital and tested upon for 108 days before i

The staff barged into my room in the middle of the night and doused me in gasoline and set me on fire. They then melted all of my belongings in acid. I am appalled.

A very unique experience. First time I fell asleep in a church that there wasn't a lengthy sermon. Very clean and warm. A great place to stay after a long day of hunting.
