Comstock Motel

We had written a bad review stating how the room price didn't match what was quoted to us. The room had a dirty bed and the clerk left as soon as we were going in our room. The owner contacted us and she explained that due to the review they had terminated the clerk. They had suspected that shady managing was going on. She then sent us a refund on our stay. In that light I would recommend staying here

The owner/manager was very nice and helpful. He took my reservation over the phone by name only as I was driving to Comstock. Room was clean and spacious. Baker’s Crossing (Devil’s River) is only 20 miles to the north. I will stay there again.

Before this Motel was rebuilt, it was the worst possible place you could think about staying but since it was revamped, it is a very nice comfortable place to stay and the owner is extremely nice. This is an awesome location for reptile collectors that want to hunt Highway 90 to Langtree and north of Comstock on Juno Road.

A few years back, I reserved a weekend at the Comstock Motel about a week before my trip. I arrived the night of my reservation but there was no one available to check me in. I knocked on the door for a while and called several times but no one greeted me. The parking lot was full of cars. It was getting late and I figured I would sort it out in the morning. If you're familiar with Comstock, you know that there's not much in the area. So I laid down in the back of my truck to get some sleep. I woke to flashlights shining in my eyes. Stayed in May for a week. Motel room was really nice and clean. The man running the motel was nice and most helpful. Would stay again.
