Comfort Suites Sarasota-Siesta Key

This hotel is in a convenient Sarasota location and overlooks a pretty lake. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other shops. The pool was dirty, and the hot tub timer took an unusually long time to start, but both the pool and hot tub worked. Inside, the hotel offers free breakfast in the morning and juices available all day. The receptionist and other staff were friendly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you want a basic place to stay with some nice amenities.

I stayed for a full week while in town on business. The daytime hotel staff was welcoming, professional, and accommodating. Check-in was smooth, and while the room was acceptable, the property itself has a noticeable “motel feel” and shows significant wear from years of heavy use. Unfortunately, the evening experience was entirely different. The staff member on duty was consistently rude and unaccommodating. She appeared disengaged, frequently on her phone, and inattentive to guests at the counter. I was reprimanded for briefly looking for plates in the kitchen area and was refused a remote control for the television in the dining lounge. The level of service during evening hours was disappointing and unprofessional. Breakfast was equally underwhelming. The food had a distinctly microwav

The room was neat and clean. The staff were ALL amazing. Courteous, eager to help, and ensured an enjoyable stay. Special shout out Yvonne! She kept the dining area spotless and provided help to guests to ensure they had everything needed for a breakfast meal that was hot and delicious. A delightful employee who represented your Comapny in an exemplary manner.

The lady who answered the phone was very rude and made unnecessary comments. When I called to cancel due to an emergency, she said, “You should know better,” in a very unpleasant tone. I completely understand if there is a cancellation policy and would have respected it, but there was no reason to be rude or dismissive. The manager doesn’t seem to care either. Very disappointing experience — I will never stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites on Honore Drive @ Sarasota/Siesta Key FL. Our King Suite room was clean and we'll stocked with all essentials we needed. All staff were very nice and welcoming. We met Yvonne who takes care of the breakfast room, she was so nice and extremely helpful. She checked on all the guests and kept the breakfast room neat and clean. It was a pleasure meeting Yvonne!
