Comfort Suites Rensselaer near Fair Oaks

The rooms were clean and very spacious. The beds were comfortable, but not the most comfortable beds I've slept in before at other hotels. It made do for the night. The employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was warm, delicious, and filling before hitting the road again in the middle of the snowstorm. Definitely book ahead of time through a booking company to get a better deal than just walking in like we did (after being forced to stay after I-65 shut down from a snowstorm).

Don’t get me wrong, Hotel is nice and staff is more than accommodating. Just that there is no restaurant on the premises, or a local Wal-Mart to effectively use the suite price. Really too much room for the money for an overnight stay. Waaaayyyy too much shower for one person. Didn't feel like other Comfort locations. So the last is that I don’t like the Chicklet pillows. Just give me 4 normal size over the 6 chicklet size. I COULD NOT GET COMFORTABLE!!!

2-2.5 stars probably closer. Check-in clerk indifferent if not sullen. Room was clean, bed good but bathroom really showed age and wear. Rust around tub, tiles and trim loose. Elevator out of service on departure and desk made this issue sound somewhat common. Fortunately we were coming downstairs from third floor. Still, a problem for us.

We had to take a stop here on our way home due to bad weather conditions. We are pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Never saw comfort inn so well kept and so well managed. We tried to get in Holiday inn first but all hotels around I-65 south were getting booked quickly due to winter storm. We grab this one and it was super clean, spacious rooms comfortable beds and good breakfast. Everything we needed after the stressful drive through the storm.

Room was clean and quiet, front desk attendant was very friendly and nice! Really pleasant experience at this hotel! I've stayed at this hotel many times and I am always treated well. Front desk attendant was exceptional - very friendly and professional and asked me for my room preference (floor, etc). Nice hotel and good value.
