Comfort Suites Plainview

It was very nice and clean. The front desk personnel were very kind. We did ask for a cleaning on the third day but did not receive it and had to take out our trash because both cans were full.. Also, one night there was a lot of noise above us. It was probably guests. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

An unfortunate experience. The room was unhygienic. There were stains on the curtain that appeared to be brown fecal matter. It was a holiday weekend and a last-minute reservation. We stayed because of exhaustion on a long road trip. We could not find another place to stay on the area. We needed rest. The sheets appeared to be clean, but the bathroom floor appeared to have not been cleaned. There were dropped coins on the floor from a previous guest, I assume. We reported the fecal matter stain to the desk clerk, but the manager did not take any action such as giving us a discount. It was our first and last time to stay at a Comfort or Choice brand hotel.

Positive: The check in process was pretty, the their free breakfast options were awesome. Negative: At 1st glance, I thought, nice! Then saw the TV had no HD, picture was horrible. The air conditioner was great, till it went off, never came back on. Your add said they had a hot tub, only in certain rooms. Don?t even get me started on the shower curtain.

I have stayed at this location every December for 10 years. This year I received a call a week before telling me they changed my booked 2 bed room to a king. I am not happy. The pull out sofa had no bedding and the mattress was about 1 inch thick. Could feel all the bars. Had to go downstairs to get bedding. Plus our room is next to the elevator so we heard all the noise all night. I was not recognized as an elite member, and when I told them that I was all they said was, thank you for being an elite. I thought I received points or a small gift for my elite membership.

The rooms Were not cleaned prior and housekeepers never stopped by had to go up front to ask for sheets and towels. The halls reeked. Bathroom had rust. I have had better experiences next door. When I had called for my reservation the lady was so rude and sounded like she wanted to be anywhere else
