Comfort Suites Near Denver Downtown

I'll start by saying the front desk lady I checked in with was very pleasant. The one I checked out with was pleasant but passive. The Hotel at first glance was nice and mostly clean. A little wore but not too bad. Our room was the same. However, in our room, I ended up falling asleep on the couch. I woke up to three, I assumed, bed bugs. I told the front desk when I checked out. I was told someone from management would call me - no one did. Second, I had to get up early to catch a flight. In the mist of our rush and my high anxiety, I forgot my bracelet. I realized it at the airport. I called immediately (It was 6am). The front desk said she would check and call me back - (If they find it, I could send them a packing label and they can mail it back to me, Cool!) - NO Call Back!. So, I c

Disgusting rooms first of all. This was our room as we walked in. We went back down to notify the front desk and request a different room. She was on the phone with a personal friend and was unbothered to help us and said they were booked. I explained to her that the room was not fit to be stayed in and she said we could leave but not get our money back even though the room was filthy and we never touched anything in it. She has no knowledge of protocol and was calling her manager on her personal phone. They refused do refund us for this disgusting room. So now I will be calling the health department and filing a formal complaint with the BBB. DO NOT STAY HERE

I asked twice for the Manager to call me to discuss these issues....five days ago. No call. UNSAT. I have been a Choice Member for 15 years and this was my 3rd time staying at this location. We came for a 2 night stay getaway for my birthday. !. first morning there was only scorching hot water in the shower and not usable (no shampoo also). 2. I was trapped in the elevator for 20 minutes. Also the 2nd elevator was not working at all. 3. The in-room coffee machines were not useable because somebody ordered the wrong size coffee pods. 4. THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE: At about 0830 (Nov 5th), in the breakfast area the was an obvious homeless street person being vulgar talking to herself and every word was F this and F that. Positive: The location was great for easy access to downtown Denver Negative: I didn't like that they closed breakfast down ten minutes before the scheduled time

Quick 1-night stay with free parking, easy check in, and manageable accommodations. The location to the nearby highways are nice but the surrounding area can be viewed as not great. The smell of chlorine from the pool area will be noticeable in the elevators and you will hear your neighbors closing doors.
