Comfort Suites Columbus Expo Center

When my daughter and I went into our room it looked nice and clean and we loved it until I noticed our rooms peep hole wasnt fully there. Anybody from the outside could see into our room. They apologized and gave us a different room. The next room was the same, nice and clean. My daughter enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast though.... all frozen and ice cold, like they just threw it in the warming trays frozen and expected it to heat up fast enough to be ate. Even after telling the front desk about the ice cold food nothing was done. He acted nonchalant and couldnt care and told me it was in the warmers. Everything else that wasnt hot food was okay, especially the waffles, those were great.

This hotel is a great choice when needing to stay in Columbus. The weekend isn't a great time to get a good price (maybe if you book in advance you may get a good Lewis, but definitely not if you book the day of for a weekend day). The service is good. The breakfast is good with a good variety available. The rooms are nice.

I will never stay there again so I would not recommend a friend stay. First of all, the room I reserved was not available. Weird, seems I reserved it! The room we had was clean. Sink handles loose, shower handle was loose, hard to judge where it was for temperature. Bed was not comfortable. No way to know what channels were for TV, no guide. Either cold or hot, no in between. At 68 degrees the air came on at 72 degrees it was too hot. The breakfast was not good and not getting replenished. This is the second Choice Hotel I have stayed at in a few months and have not had a good experience at either.

Positive: "" Negative: The room was not cleaned well. There were items and trash left in the drawers woth reciepts from the week prior. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were completley empty. The hotel had a smell to it.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that it's the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Has the caulking on the tub turned a little brown, yes. Can the doors use some repairs- yes. It was clean though! However, I stopped here coming from a $200+ dollar hotel down the road because the other hotel had an active bedbug infestation- which they knew about and still tried to give me a room in the hot zone. This hotel DOES NOT!!! I inspected my room and took apart the bedding. As far as the reviews for not a safe area- I had no issues and everyone was really nice. The breakfast was okay, highly recommend making the waffles with the cinnamon roll batter. 🤤 It was quiet and I highly enjoyed the stay. If I come back through I will stay again.
