Comfort Suites Benbrook - Fort Worth Southwest

Power went out to the thermostat the first night we stayed so we spent the night without AC. The next day, we reported the situation to management in the morning and they weren’t able to fix the problem so had to change rooms that evening. The woman at the front desk told me that they would give me a 50% off refund for the first night which was the cheaper night anyways, but then still charged me the full price. When asked for a receipt she said that she couldn’t provide one claiming that I purchased the rooms through a third party even though the room was reserved on the Choice Hotel website. There was something wrong with water leaking from the ceiling right next to the front desk. The carpet was wet the entirety of our stay. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in a lot of different hotels. This is a budget hotel, the door locks are a little finicky, but the food is good and free. The staff is great, everyone I intracted with were amazing, especially the wonderful woman who sets up breakfast. I would stay here again!

We had an exceptional stay. Room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub. The indoor pool was cold but refreshing. It is November lol. Breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel was located well for my purposes, the breakfast was a nice bonus, and the room was comfortable, though it was hard to figure out how to control the temperature in the room because the thermostat display was blank with no indication of what the temperature was in the room. The bigger problems were that 1) other customers came onto my floor at 1:30 am, arguing very loudly all the way down the hallway and for at least an hour after entering their room, waking me and keeping me awake until the finally stopped around 2:30 am, and 2) a car with 2 men was crookedly parked barely in an end space behind my car, and the driver clearly looked like he was videoing my car with his phone, which was a bit unnerving and made me question the safety of my car.

Stayed here recently and had a mostly enjoyable stay. There were some minor stains or general wear to the room, but it was clean and serviceable. Decent place to stay if it's priced right for whenever to you need to stay in the area.
