Comfort Inn Weirton - Steubenville

Great location. Tons of shopping and places to eat. All are on the Weirton Ride bus route. This hotel has an amazing staff that makes sure their guests are more than 100% satisfied. Adam & Lisa were always so helpful at the front desk and amazing at troubleshooting ANY issues that may arise even if it was something that was completely my fault. The housekeeping and laundry staff were super sweet and kind and always made sure I had what I needed. You could not ask for a better all around deal on a hotel. They truly know what hospitality means. Thanks so much you guys ❤️

I’m writing to share feedback about my recent stay at the Comfort Inn Weirton - Steubenville. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t consider returning or recommending this property to others. Key issues observed: Room quality: Toilet clogged upon arrival; initial room had a strong marijuana odor. Cleanliness and maintenance: Overall hotel appeared dirty; bedsides phones were nonfunctional, forcing guests to use mobile phones to contact the front desk. Housekeeping: From Monday through Friday, the room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced. Public areas: Ongoing hot tub work in the main area with a tarp and yellow caution tape, suggesting incomplete or exposed repairs. This combination of issues significantly impacted comfort and safety. I expected a standard level of cleanline

I stay here very frequently for work and always have a great experience overall. Clean, comfy room, good breakfast, and great, friendly staff. I have two complains- 1 is that the hot tub has been down for months. Please fix it so that it can be enjoyed! 2- is that the back door and other door at the front aren’t locked, the key card readers do not work, so it makes me feel a little unsafe knowing just anyone can access the hotel that way.

Checked in. Room smells musty. :-( ||First room doesn't have a desk chair for the desk in the room. Receptionist said that type of room doesn't have a desk chair (for the desk). Got another room. ||Second room smells musty. Wasn't bad when you stepped outside, but it hits every time you walk back into the room How can they rent rooms that smell like that.||I'm a former smoker. My sense of smell is almost non-existent. I could smell the room. Would not stay there again. ||They have a laminated sheet explaining how cleanliness is their priority. BS. Capet was gross||Room was quiet an bed was comfortable. The room was otherwise clean. Housekeeping must be doing their job, but I don't expect them to be responsible for the carpet being shampooed.

Positive: "" Negative: The indoor pool was closed for repair. We chose this hotel over others for the pool. There was an alive cockroach in the bathroom. Receptionist said they had a recent infestation. The entire first floor smelled of strong cigarette smoke.
