Comfort Inn & Suites St. Paul Northeast

Took my son down to the cities to go to jurrasic quest and needed somewhere to stay. He wanted somewhere with a waterslide. He wanted great Wolf lodge which is so expensive. I researched and found this hotel. Our stay has been actually better than last time I went to great wolf lodge. Waterslide hours are amazing on weekends. Pool hours are long. Free parking, free breakfast. Rooms comfy, showers nice, my son wants to come back again next week 😆. I told him maybe in a month or two.

Everyone was very friendly. The rooms where clean. The one thing I would suggest to have management check the floors from time to time. I was very satisfied till I had a family celebration of a birthday or something that brought friends and many children to one room. They ran up and down the hallways being children of course having fun the parents took no consideration of other guest in the hotel. Maybe more mindful of where you place your guest.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool area is a lot of fun but has minimal lighting, so it gets dark in the evenings. We traveled with multiple sports teams, so the large breakfast area was a great place for everyone to gather for meals or just hang out. Rooms and breakfast were both good (not excellent, but good - suited our needs). Would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed here before with no issues. Definitely do not try to check in ten minutes early, you will not be allowed in. We got upgraded to a king suite, which was nice, and I am not sure why but the key cards for the room were hit or miss as to whether they worked or not, and it wasn't just us having this issue. The cards were fin in the pool area and the outside doors, just not in the room door. One night the hot tub and pool were closed down by the health department!! We were staying for 4 days and the hot tub is a large part of my selection process when booking hotels, so this was annoying. The rooms are mediocre at best the reason why we came was for the pool, it’s says parties not available not that parties aren’t permitted which means two different things. Staff are beyond rude I came to the front desk because it never said that party’s were not permitted to try to buy 8 wristbands one lady was going to let me the other lady refused and made me get another room for over $100 that only came with 4 more wristbands. The website should have the rules written clearly and boldly not in the see more drop downs. The staff are beyond rude and make the stay unpleasant and I am a choice reward member as well.
