Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield

For a quick overnight stop, the amenities were more than sufficient. The breakfast setup in the morning helped us get moving without delay, and the overall layout made it easy to access everything we needed. It felt well thought out and practical for travelers.

During my recent stay, I found this hotel to be very clean, with friendly and helpful staff and a safe, convenient location. I noticed some lower reviews online, but those seem to be from the previous ownership. The hotel is clearly under new management and things have improved significantly. For the price, this is hands down the best value hotel I’ve stayed at in the area. My room was spotless throughout my stay, the bed was comfortable, and fresh towels were provided every day. The complimentary breakfast was perfectly fine, nothing extraordinary, but on par with most hotels. They offered good coffee, eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, and a nice variety of juices. So close to giving this hotel 1 star. Going with two stars for two reasons. First, cost was $74 a nigh. At that cost I temper any expectations. Second, the room had a very big and comfortable King Size bed. There was plenty of bad. Customer service was terrible. No body at the desk. Ever. A sign with a phone number to call for help. From the desk I could hear the TV they were watching in the office. Poor poor service. Room was sorta clean. Needed a deep clean. Dead bugs in the window frame. Dirt under furniture. Etc. Had trouble sleeping. Loud clanking noise that went on for most of the night. AC/heater unit didn't work. Room temp was mostly comfortable. Kleenex jamed in the peephole opening on the room door. See pic. If I needed a room in the area I would find a different hotel.

Checkin at approximately 5pm was quick and easy. Room was clean and quiet on the third floor. I did not utilize the free breakfast but did appreciate that they left out some plastic utensils overnight when my DoorDash arrived without utensils!

I was traveling alone for work and wanted something comfortable and simple. The Wi-Fi was fast, the shower pressure was perfect, and the staff made check-in quick. There was a bit of hallway noise at first, but it quieted down fast and I had a peaceful night.
