Comfort Inn & Suites Sarasota I75

The pillows are terrible, the guy at the front desk was absolutely horrible regarding using cash instead of a card they wanted a $250 deposit which seems excessive in my opinion. The scenario was not me being petty.... I am also a member of their rewards program & beings I work out of town more often than not I'm very familiar with booking hotels for a discounted rate etc, the guy at the front desk was the opposite of helpful regarding that as well. Any of the common areas like the hallway or where you eat breakfast etc is extremely hot as far as a controlled room temperature. I suppose if you're old & always cold then 80° indoors seems comfortable, but I don't believe so for younger people(def not me). I ended up at this hotel because of my employer booking it in advance & I'm not thrille

Our family stayed two nights at the Comfort Inn and had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had the breakfast the first morning and it was pleasant. There were plenty of options for everyone. Our only complaint was the hot food wasn’t very hot, but there is a microwave there so we easily fixed the issue. There is lemon water, coffee, and tea available all day which we appreciated. The front check in staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Positive: All of the above. The staff was very nice. They accommodated us when the air conditioner in the original room did not keep the room cool. The rooms were quiet and secure. Negative: The A/C in the first room did not work so that led to discomfort for a while.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before because our son lives nearby. We have always had a great stay. Our 2 Queen beds room was always comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast plentiful and hearty. However, this last stay we reserved a "1 King Bed, 1 Bedroom, Suite" and were very surprised, and pleased, at how much larger and comfortable it was (it looked much smaller in the pictures in the hotel website). The King bed was in the spacious bedroom, with double doors opening to the sitting area, which had a Queen sofa bed, a wide lounge chair, a rectangular desk and rolling chair, a 37inch or so TV on a chest of drawers, and a round dining table with two chairs (but big enough that it could easily accommodate four). The Hotel is nice and everyone is great, Hudson and Ethan are great employees with a smile and good attitude. The food not problem I have is that the kitchen staff do not speak English and it is frustrating. Sorry but if you are going to work in America you need to learn English please. The breakfast could be a lot better if you would change the menu once in a while. Like have some bacon and potatoes. The gravy and scrambled eggs gets a little old. We stay there a lot and that is how I know. Management needs to read this so they can have a better breakfast experience. Thank you
